Eden Sher: I Was On A Sitcom
The story
Riotous and deeply personal, Eden Sher’s debut comedy special is a show about finding out who you are when your TV show ends and your "real life" begins. Because when you've played a character on TV for a decade, what exactly does it mean to "be yourself?” Living at the intersection of stand-up, storytelling and theatrical chaos, this solo show offers a rare intimate glimpse inside a popular sitcom actor’s real, raw life. Sher dives headfirst into the identity crisis that followed nine years of playing the same character—and what happens when a nurse recognizes you while in the middle of your emergency C-section. Whether you're a die-hard Middle fan or have no idea who Eden Sher is (she will explain), I Was On A Sitcom is a wild, hilarious, and oddly moving ride through fame, identity, and a harrowing surprise twin pregnancy.
